  1. I attended a very cool event last weekend called “Masters of Taste” at the Rose Bowl. I am very excited about a couple of cool local breweries I discovered and can’t wait to try them at their brick and mortar locations. Here are the yelp pages of a few of my favs: Indie Brewing Company, MacLeod Ale Brewing, and State Brewing Company.

  2. Just booked two rental cars for upcoming trips this summer and got great rates by checking with AutoSlash. The found better prices (by $50+) than I could find anywhere else. I’d never heard of this site before, so I am excited that it worked so well for me!
  3. I bought a few shares of stock this morning using Robinhood. I am super new in the whole stock market world but love that Robinhood allows free trades and no minimums so you can but just one penny stock at no cost to you. Use my code to sign up and you’ll get a free stock (of a random company, I received Groupon) when you sign up.
  4. I have a few new favorite Instagram accounts I’ve started following: Symmetry Breakfast, Scott’s Cheap Flights and I Have This Thing With Floors. Selfishly, I’d also love for you to follow us of course!

  1. 13298084_1624277394553268_1457889854_nLaughed out loud at these headlines t-shirts from The Cut. My favorites include ‘Engagement Chicken,’ ‘John Mayer’s Newest Song is About Bath Bombs,’ and ‘My Other Shirt Is A Caftan.’
  2. For Mother’s Day I got my mom a photo of us at my wedding printed by Fracture. If you’ve never heard of them, Fractures are printed directly on glass and have a unique and creative look to them. I think they make great Instagram prints, I have two on my desk! (PS – for $10 off use code ‘RFR145774’)
  3. I’m never one to watch live coverage of red carpets, but I have so enjoyed reading some recaps of this week’s Met Gala [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7]. Love gawking at looks that missed the mark and ogling over ones that were a home run!
  4. I thought this Runner’s World article on the Boston Marathon awarding prize money to non-elites was a great read. Sheds some light on how races are set up, why this year’s Boston was so weird, and how it affected prize distribution.
