I started a new job just over two months ago, and it a little bit feels like I’m living through everyone else’s March 2020. For a year my sole responsibility was taking care of Ernie, so the space I occupied most was on the floor or in his room or out in our backyard. Enter a new 9-to-5 schedule, Zoom meetings, and clackety-clacking away on my laptop for hours on end, and it was very clear, very quickly that I needed a desk setup of some sort. (Those first few days of working from the couch were… painful. And foolish.) We’re lucky that we have a dedicated room as an office as well as ample space in our living room to carve out two separate work areas for my husband and I, as we’re both fully remote for the foreseeable future. He’s been in the office for over a year and it made sense to just keep his space there, so I moved some of our living room furniture around and now have a setup in a front corner (with excellent lighting). It’s definitely still a little in flux and I’ve been eyeing several different “small desk” options. Thought I’d round up some of my favorites here if anyone else is still tinkering with their work-from-home setup!
WFH Desk | Blu Dot Desk | Bookshelf Desk
Leaning Bookshelf Desk | Folding Desk | Grey Drawers Desk
Fold-down Chalkboard Desk | Fold-down Shelf Desk | Fold-down Wall Workstation
Narrow Desk with Hooks | Console Desk | Fold-down Bookshelf Desk
Has anyone else redone their (small) home office space recently? Any desk, chair, or other furniture options you’d like to share?? Let us know in the comments!
