- We celebrated Colby’s half birthday this week – what a crazy fast 6 months it’s been! We spent the day at home of course. I bought him a couple little toys — this wobbler which he LOVES and these shakers which are a tad too big for his hands but I think are going to be a big hit in a month or so.
- I finally made a dutch baby pancake this morning after following the food trend on Instagram for a few weeks. It was so much easier than I expected. I served it with powdered sugar, cinnamon, and this delicious Maine Blueberry Syrup that I got received as a Mother’s Day gift.
- I greatly enjoyed this week’s episode of Planet Money where they talk about restaurant innovation during COVID-19.
- This weekend would have been a big set of events for me at work celebrating UCLA turning 100. It’s been sad to see so many events get canceled but I am inspired by event innovation (1, 2, 3) from planners across the country as we adapt and learn.

- Los Angeles has new rules as of this week where a mask must be worn at all times outside of your home. I’m trying to not hate this too much because I know it’s for the greater good. Currently making a few more masks (pattern one, pattern two) for my husband and I so we can cycle through them and keep them cleaned.
- It seems like Baby Ernie is very close to walking. He’s really enjoying pushing this airplane around for balance practice.
- I made these Smitten Kitchen oatmeal cookies last week for my husband’s birthday. We’ve been having them with this oatmilk oatmeal cookie ice cream and it is too delicious!
- I am very much considering jumping on the tie dye trend with this sweatsuit…
- My husband and I started watching Tales from the Loop this week. I like it so far (we’re only two episodes in) and it’s so beautifully shot! Very interested to see where the story takes us.
