For me, one of the best ways to celebrate the holidays is to cook, bake and eat delicious food. I love making food and enjoying it with my family. And with those big family meals comes lots of leftovers!
This year, my husband and I are not traveling back to the east coast to be with extended family since Colby is so little and we are not quite up for flying with an infant yet. Instead, we are going to be just our small family of three in Los Angeles.
I love making ham for the holidays because it is so easy and feels like Christmas time, but it is really hard to buy a ham for just two people so I need to think of lots of ways to use the leftovers in a way that we won’t get tired of them over several days.
So without further ado, here is my round-up of recipes I want to try this year for using the leftover ham!
Breakfasts
- Spinach, Ham & Cheese Omelet
- Breakfast Pizza
- Hawaiian Hash
- Biscuit, Ham, and Egg Sandwiches
- Monte Cristo Casserole
- Ham and Mushroom Frittata
Lunch
Appetizers
- Ham and Cheese Pinwheels
- Ham Asparagus Bundles
- Ham & Cheese Dip
- Ham, Cheese, & Spinach Puffs
- Mashed Potato Cakes
Soups
Entrees
I can’t wait to try some of these out. Does anyone else have favorite ham recipes that I should add to my list? Let us know in the comments!
