Even though we live in Los Angeles, the city of cars (as well as angels), we both still enjoy driving, especially when it comes to long distance trips. Road trips played a big part in Stella’s vacations as a kid, and Laura has moved back and forth across the country a handful of times, always making the trip in her car. Let’s not be too hasty on this love of driving, though. You need the right setup, whether it’s choosing the right snacks (Twizzlers for Laura, Stella prefers this TJ’s trail mix), having the perfect stops planned out (Laura made a point of seeing many “world’s largest things” like the largest flamingo in Wisconsin Dells and the largest stamp in Cleveland on her back and forths across the states), or getting the perfect playlist queued up for those long days ahead.
