We are both obsessed with Dr. Bronner’s Hemp Pure-Castile Soap. It’s a staple in our shower and we’ve been amazed by it’s multitude of uses throughout the house as well. We love that it’s made with organic oils and certified fair trade ingredients. The soaps are fully biodegradable and pose no threat to the environment. Plus the products are never tested on animals and are completely cruelty-free. Combined with our favorite uses for vinegar, and you’ll have your entire house (and everyone in it!) cleaned with these uses. These are a few of our favorite uses and tips for using this magical soap for EVERYTHING.

1. Shower gel for us and baby! Our go-to shower gel cleanser is the lavender scent. We normally buy the large bottle and it’s amazing how far just a little bit will go! The lavender scent is very calming and always leaves us feeling fresh and ready to go. We also love the unscented version for babies.
2. For an elevated hair washing routine. It takes a bit of time to get this routine down but once you’ve got it down, the results are amazing.
3. As a facial cleanser. You can use Dr. Bronner’s all over including your face! It fights acne and completely removes makeup.
4. Pet wash. Now that you and the baby are clean, it’s definitely time for the dog’s bath, right? Not to worry, Dr. Bronner’s is safe and effective for pets, too. We also like this recipe to level up beyond just castile soap.
5. As a make up brush cleanser. Dr. Bronner’s is a perfect solution for cleaning make-up brushes. It’s is powerful enough to cut through dried foundation bits, however it’s gentle enough not to cause the bristles to fall out. We love this how-to guide of exactly how to do it.
6. To shave with. While it is not the most bubble-inducing lather, Dr. Bronner’s is a good go-to shaving aid for men and women, alike. The low-bubble formula actually helps you get a closer shave than some other products.
7. To clean dishes. Mix with water at a 10-to-1 ratio and you’ve got a great solution to use with a washcloth or scrub brush on dirty dishes.
8. Mopping floors. We love choosing our favorite scent for the season (fall has us reaching for Rose, at the moment!) and using about 1/2 a cup with hot water to clean floors. Not only is everything squeaky clean at the end, but our whole house smells delicious!
9. As a laundry detergent. Because of its concentrated formula, Dr. Bronner’s is an excellent detergent alternative.
10. All of the above while camping! Ok, maybe you’re not actually mopping floors while camping, but pretty much everything else is a go. Bring along a small squeeze bottle of Dr. Bronner’s and you’ll be set to clean you, the kids, your dishes, clothes, and the dog. This all-in-one power-horse is a great addition to your “go bag.”
