- I’ve had a lot of fun discovering Binging with Babish over the past few weeks. A few of my favorite episodes include Il Timpano (from the movie The Big Night), Bao Buns (from Pixar’s Bao) and homemade bacon (I need to add this one to our Project Cooking list!) If you love to cook, this YouTube channel is for you!
Third trimester starts next week! - Very excited to see that LAX has added one more restaurant to their list of places that Priority Pass gives you a credit for. This is a perk that my husband and I get through our credit card (Chase Sapphire Reserve) and we love getting to use it while traveling!
- Also in travel news, I am pumped that Google Flights is offering price guarantees for bookings this fall. There are several restrictions and it seems unlikely that I’d actually personally book a flight (I probably won’t be traveling much) that ends up resulting in a refund, but wanted to share in case anyone is booking flights soon!
- I finally got around to listening to Laura’s recommendation (ok, more than one) and started listening to The Longest Shortest Time podcast this week and I am hooked! Sorry it took me so long to get on board.

- I love the look of this rooftop sculpture/play place! Since having Ernie I’ve been constantly on the lookout for kid-friendly outings… now if only this one wasn’t 3,000 miles away, but maybe by the time he’s old enough to play on it, it will still be around to visit!
- I have Louisa’s post bookmarked to try all of these delicious-sounding salads! We’re lucky that good produce is pretty easy to get year-round in Los Angeles, so these don’t necessarily have to be summer-only recipes.
- Baby Ernie officially learned how to roll over in the last week, so we’ve been working on transitioning him out of a swaddle for naps and nighttime sleeps. Still using a sleep sack for some swaddle-like sensations, but it has for sure been a transition so far…hoping we get our grade-A napper back soon!
- My friend had custom cocktail napkins at her wedding last weekend with her dog’s face printed on them and they were so good that my husband and I joked about perhaps getting some with our pup featured just to have for our house… maybe not a joke??
