- I am moving!! After almost 8 years at the same place in Hollywood, my husband and I are taking the plunge and trying somewhere new. It’s just a few miles away from our current spot but it’s a huge upgrade (washer and dryer in unit!!). We haven’t even moved in yet but already feel more like adults 🙂
The patio at our new apartment! - I’ve been on a huge selling things online spree for several weeks (months? years?) now and was thrilled to stumble upon this fantastic Reddit tip for sharing your closet on Poshmark.
- I absolutely loved this video of Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard on Ellen. Three of my favorite celebs being very silly together certainly put a smile on my face.
- I’m very intrigued by this new high interest (4%!) checking account offered by AT&T … there seem to be quite a few stipulations but I love that more and more companies are offering ways to save with interest.

- My coworker Claire’s kitchen remodel was featured on Apartment Therapy and I can’t help but swoon over the changes! Super obsessed with her fun tile choices and how much airier and brighter the space is.
- My little sister is finishing up her senior year of high school and has been a huge part of the Gay-Straight Alliance throughout her time there. She just helped put on a day-long event at the school bringing awareness to LBGTQ+ issues and I couldn’t be more proud of her. It looked like not only did students walk away with greater understanding and empathy, but also like it was a very fun event!
- My husband bought a new (to us) car over the weekend! He previously had a two-door hatchback that was going to make carseat integration a bit tricky, so we’d been shopping around for a bit. New car smell has a very prominent olfactory memory for me: when I was 4 or 5 my dad got a new car and we went on so many road trips in it while listening to this audio story ‘Chicken Made of Rags,’ that the scent puts me immediately back at that age!
- I have been on a freezer-filling quest all week to stock as much as possible in anticipation of our upcoming arrival. Love this Bon Appetit collection, this Huffington Post list, and this list from Budget Bytes along with some “how to freeze leftovers” tips!
