We’re taking a quick break from Bucket List Week for our usual Friday It’s A Thing post. Fear not, we will be back this afternoon and tomorrow with our final posts to round out the week!

1. My husband and I are headed to Durban, South Africa tonight after a wonderful week in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. It always been one of our big bucket list items to go to one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World and after seeing just one, I want to see the rest!
2. Between this big trip to Africa and a smaller one earlier this month for a wedding, we’ve already been on 5 planes this month! And with 8 more to go before our trip concludes, I have been super focused on keeping us healthy. I love these mega hydrate capsules to help me avoid dehydration. And I’ve also been taking at least one emergen-c packet each day. Health is key!
3. I started listening to a new-to-me podcast about side hustle businesses. There are so many great episodes about how people with normal jobs are making thousands of dollars on the side doing the most random things. The guy behind the podcast also wrote a book all about side hustle.
4. I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting with our new camera that we bought for the trip. I am so glad we decided to take something more advanced than our iPhones. Can’t wait to share more photos with you all when we return.

1. I thought this cost breakdown of a year in the life of a woman by The Financial Diet was great. I think the phrase “the pink tax” gets thrown around a lot without people really understanding just how detrimental to women’s finances it can be!
2. It is getting oh! so! toasty! here in Los Angeles and I immediately started drooling upon happening on this Pineapple/Mango/Passionfruit paddle pop recipe! Bookmarked (and snuck these into my cart asap) for a lazy weekend day soon…
3. Not to spoil the magic, but often these links from our It’s A Thing posts are ones we have already sent to each other throughout the week, and this just ends up being a roundup of stuff we share. However, Stella is in Africa this week so we haven’t been g-chatting and I almost died when Blair posted this all-things-yellow roundup and I couldn’t immediately send it to Stella. It is all so her!
4. Winners were announced last week for the 2018 ‘Hit Like A Girl‘ drumming contest, and I have spent most of my evenings watching these incredible drummers. Super obsessed with all of them, but 8-year old Yoyoka has definitely stolen my heart.
