- I am headed up to Lake Arrowhead this weekend for a quick work trip. Looking forward to some time in the mountains! It’s going to be a bit chilly up there so I’ve packed hand/toe warmers and my favorite light down jacket.
- I’ve signed up for a few focus groups lately as a fun side hustle thing. Both of the ones that I was selected for were about an hour of work and I made over $100 each time. Not a bad gig! If you are in Los Angeles, Boston or Atlanta you can sign up with the same company I’ve been using, Jackson Adept Research.
- I finally started watching Breaking Bad … I know, I know, I am way behind. But it’s amazing, if you’ve put it off like I have, put it back on your list! It’s streaming free on Netflix right now.
- Today was my last day of the morning bootcamp classes that I’ve been taking for the last 12 weeks! I am feeling much stronger but think I need to get back into focus on the nutrition side. Loving these healthy recipes from fellow bloggers Moroccan Spiced Hummus, Natural Juices, and this Blueberry Muffin Smoothie.

I’m really impressed by the Gal Meets Glam collection that Julia released. The partnership with Nordstrom is so cool and I have definitely added a few of her dresses to my “lust after” list!
- This TFD post about creative ways to use kitchen scraps. Not only did I learn a few things on what can actually be used/eaten, the puns scattered throughout are deliciously great.
- We both use Pedometer++ as a step tracker and this week the app hit 5 million downloads! I love following along with developer blogs for app updates, troubleshooting, etc. and every now and then it’s really nice to see a developer get so psyched about their product being used!
- I’m using Saucey to have a bunch of beer delivered to work today for a meetup we’re hosting. I have also used them in the past to send a bottle of champagne to a celebrating friend, some shower beers to someone having a tough week, etc. I love the concept!
I just started watching Breaking Bad this year too…it’s great!! Better late than never, right? 🙂
