  1. I had my first good experience with cauliflower pizza crust this week. I’ve tried making it myself before and failed terribly. This time, I used Trader Joe’s frozen cauliflower crust and just added my own toppings. It actually turned out really well and is a nice alternative to traditional crust. I recommend going heavy on the sauce! My new favorite sauce is the Thrive Market brand (use my code for $25 off your first order).img_7009-1.jpg
  2. I watched a cute movie last night called When We First Met. It’s a Netflix original and is a cute weeknight-by-yourself movie (would also be a great watch-on-the-plane-download). I laughed out loud a few times and loved watching the love story unfold.
  3. I’ve been trying to up my low-carb/healthy snack game. Clementines are my go to but I’m always on the hunt for something a little less perishable. A few of my favs lately have been Cheese Whisps (great with guacamole!), RX bars and on-the-go Almonds.
  4. Feeling incredibly inspired by these photographs by Vivian Maier. After her death, a man bought a box of undeveloped negatives for $380 and found this incredible collection.
  5. Started playing a silly trivia game on my phone called, HQ Trivia (AppleAndroid). It’s typically 12 questions at a time and if you get them all correct, you split the pot of money (usually $2500 – $5000) with the rest of the winners. In last night’s game, every winner got ~$45. I lost after question 4. It’s a fun way to keep your brain active and maybe win some $$! The history of the app and information about how it’s funded is an interesting read if you are curious!

  1. Loved Krista‘s post last week on ‘The Ultimate eBay Shopping Guide‘! We’re all about the online selling, but this brought to light the equally fun side of shopping! She has some great must-follow tips for getting the best quality item.

  2. I subscribe to The Financial Diet and am continually impressed with the caliber of their content. Lately they’ve really been killing it with some super interesting pieces that I’ve 100% enjoyed: Having The Intense Money Conversations With Friends9 Biggest Secrets About “Real Life”Surviving The 52-Week Challenge, and 5 Ways To Legally Pay Less In Taxes.
  3. Relatedly, I was over the moon in love with this post from She Picks Up Pennies on ‘Easy Ways to Save Time and Money.’ I think a lot of us (myself included) put a lot of pressure on we can save time and money in massive quantities. I love being able to tout a $500 savings or that I cut 4 hours off a project’s expected timeframe. But SPUP does a lovely job of reminding us that the small things can add up, and outlines a great list of easy ways to make those small things more achievable.
  4. I desperately want to find a reason to stay in one of these Frank Lloyd Wright houses listed on HomeAway!
  5. I found Buzzfeed’s feature on ‘The Seven Biggest Lies Theranos Told‘ endlessly fascinating. I haven’t read super in-depth about the Theranos scandal(s?) and this was a good primer on what has been happening over the last few years.
