STELLA:
5:35 AM – Alarm goes off. Decide if I am going to yoga or “sleeping in” till 7:00 AM. Ideally, I go to yoga 🙂
5:40 AM – Brush teeth and wash my face (best cleanser, best moisturizer). Then, change into yoga clothes and grab my pre-packed yoga bag. It’s a quick turnaround!
5:50 AM – Leave the house and drive to Corepower, I love to go to the studio by my office to eliminate my commute. On the drive, I either listen to one of my favorite podcasts or call my sister who lives in Florence (9 hour time difference).
6:15 AM – Park at my office and walk to the yoga studio.
6:30 AM – Class begins. Amazing, sweaty, wonderful-ness.
7:30 AM – Class ends. I grab a quick shower and get ready in the locker room. This hair towel is a life saver, it drys my hair so fast! I usually bring my cheaper products with me to CPY in case I accidentally forget something there.
8:00 AM – Walk back to my office, switch my yoga bag for my purse and head upstairs to work. I usually eat breakfast at my desk (yogurt and berries or oatmeal).
LAURA:
6:55 AM – Alarm goes off.
7:00 AM – Get up, wash my face, and take our dog for a walk. We try to do a 45 minute to an hour walk in the morning to tire her out before she goes to work with my fiancĂ©.
7:50 AM – Arrive back home and start the coffee. I shower at night, so my fiancĂ© jumps in the shower while I start on breakfast. We have almost the same thing every day: avocado toast with a fried egg on top, a side of fruit (usually a banana, apple, or grapes), coffee, and juice. (I use this avocado saver every other day and it’s GREAT.)
8:05 AM – Sit down to breakfast. If it’s warm enough out (which is most days because Los Angeles) we will have breakfast in our backyard and let our pet bunnies run around and eat some grass.
8:25 AM – Decide on an outfit (sometimes this takes me 30 seconds, other days 10 minutes… if anyone has any surefire ways to figure out what to wear, I am all ears!), do my makeup, collect anything I need to bring with me to work (I’ve been on an ebay and Poshmark selling spree lately, so I often have to remember things, shipping supplies, and mailing labels).
8:35 AM – Do the breakfast dishes while my fiancĂ© makes lunch. We’ve been on a big sandwich kick lately, and I think anything tastes better when someone else makes it for you, but Jacob has a particular knack for choosing all the right condiments.
8:45 AM – Say goodbye to everyone (dog, bunnies, Jacob) and get in the car to go to work. My commute is ~30 minutes so I try to leave by 9:00 to get to my office for 9:30. I have a pretty lax office schedule which is great for enjoying my mornings! On the way in I listen to podcasts or Taylor!
9:15 AM – Arrive at work, make tea, have my vitamins, and check in on what needs to be done for the day. I love having a very particular routine for when I first arrive at the office. It sets up my day and kind of lets myself know, “Ok, it’s time to work now!”
